Sean Murray

SONAR Session – “Call of Duty: Black Ops” by Sean Murray:
Learn about the soundtrack to the most anticipated game of the year, scored with the most anticipated DAW of the year.
Sean, who has been scoring video games for a decade, just finalized work on the score for Call of Duty: World at War – the most recent video game in the best-selling series by Activision. His non-traditional score mixes synthesized sounds with the live music of a 100-piece orchestra recorded in Prague. Sean’s music for the game has been described as “some of the coolest music we’ve ever heard in a game. The darker texture of the music, the somber and hostile emotions it elicits, does a powerful job of capturing the gritty, unsanitized vision of war. Sean also scored “True Crime – Streets of LA” and True Crime – New York City”.
