Born blind and mentally-impaired, Rex is unable to perform everyday tasks like tying a shoe or fastening a button, yet he has overcome the odds using music as a stepping stone.<\/p>\n<p>Enrolled in voice and piano lessons, Rex spends his free-time perfecting the classics &#8211; Debussy and Schubert for example.
